Professor Ronald Penny, AO - Medical Advisor

Prof Penny one of Australia's leading Immunologists, is the Director of Sydney St Vincent's Hospital Centre for Immunology. He is an Honorary Consultant at several Sydney Hospitals, and serves on the Editorial Board of six international journals. He was made an Officer of the General Division, Order of Australia for "service to medical research and education, particular in the field of clinical immunology."

Dr Róisín Deane - Cord Blood Division Manager

Róisín completed her PhD in Dublin in 1993. She spent the next 5 years working as a research scientist in Ireland, Germany and more recently here in Australia at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. She has been involved with the Cord Blood project since its inception.

Gordon Milliken - Managing Director

Gordon has 28 years experience in logistic and operations management including as Manager of the Commercial Testing and Laboratory Operations at Macquarie Pathology Services (now known as Mayne Health) and as Operations Manager at Hanly Moir Pathology.

Philip Wong - Scientific Officer, Quality Assurance

Philip completed his Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree, majoring in Pharmacology, in 1999. He has worked at the Johnson & Johnson Research Laboratories and is currently responsible for Technical and Logistic Services at Cryosite. He also holds a Diploma of Operations and Personnel Management.

Megan Gleeson - Production Technical Officer

Megan completed her Diploma in Biological Techniques in 1996. She has worked as a Pathology Technical Officer with Macquarie Pathology Services (now known as Mayne Health Laverty Pathology) in both the Endocrinology and Biochemistry Departments and more recently as a consultant in their Commercial Pathology Marketing and Sales Department.
